Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Spanish forward Ferran Torres from Barcelona, adding another proven attacking weapon to Luis Enrique’s star-studded squad.
The transfer was finalized on August 15, 2026, with reports in Spain putting the deal at around €50 million, potentially rising further through bonuses. Torres has reportedly signed a five-year contract until 2031 and will wear the No. 9 shirt in Paris.
The move brings Torres’ Barcelona chapter to an end after more than four years in Catalonia. Barcelona and PSG had reached an agreement in principle days earlier before the final paperwork was completed.
For PSG, the arrival of Torres represents another major statement of ambition.
The versatile Spain international can operate through the middle or from either wing, giving Luis Enrique additional flexibility in an attack already packed with elite talent. Torres also reunites with the Spanish coach after previously working under him with Spain’s national team.
Torres arrives in Paris with his reputation soaring following Spain’s successful 2026 World Cup campaign, where he played an important role in his country’s triumph.

His departure also delivers Barcelona a significant financial boost as the Catalan giants continue reshaping their squad ahead of the new season. The forward originally joined Barça from Manchester City in January 2022.
For Torres, however, the focus now switches completely to Paris.
Competition for attacking places will be intense, with PSG already boasting several dangerous forwards, but Torres’ versatility, movement and eye for goal could make him an important piece of Luis Enrique’s plans.
What began as transfer speculation has now developed into one of the eye-catching moves of the summer window.
Ferran Torres is heading from Barcelona to Paris and PSG have added another major attacking threat as they continue building a squad designed to dominate both France and Europe.
