Ghanaian actress Kisa Gbekle has once again become the center of a heated social media conversation after videos surfaced showing her apparently undergoing another cosmetic procedure.
The actress shared several clips of herself dressed in hospital clothing while documenting what she described as another chapter in her body-enhancement journey. Reports and circulating social media posts place her in Turkey, where she previously underwent cosmetic surgery.
Rather than keeping the procedure private, Kisa openly embraced her decision, describing the latest move in terms of “higher standards,” “sculpted curves” and “refined proportions.” She also stressed that she viewed the process as an evolution rather than a complete transformation.
The videos immediately triggered a wave of reactions, ranging from disbelief and amusement to criticism from people questioning why the actress would return for another procedure. Others defended her decision, arguing that what she chooses to do with her body remains entirely personal.
What has made the latest development even more surprising is Kisa’s previous experience with cosmetic surgery.
In 2021, the actress travelled to Turkey for a tummy tuck and later revealed that the procedure, travel and related expenses cost her about GH¢60,000 at the time. She explained that she chose surgery after becoming unhappy with changes to her stomach.
Months later, Kisa said the pain from that procedure had been so severe that she did not believe she would undergo another body-enhancement surgery. Her latest videos therefore mark a dramatic change from those earlier comments.
This time, however, Kisa appears completely unapologetic about her decision, emphasizing that it is her body and her choice. The precise nature of the latest procedure has not been independently confirmed.
As the videos continue circulating, Kisa Gbekle has once again pushed Ghana’s long-running debate over celebrity body enhancement, cosmetic surgery and personal choice straight back into the social media spotlight.
