VIDEO: Blueface Held at Gunpoint and Handcuffed During Terrifying Livestream Swatting With Nevaeh and Newborn Baby

American rapper Blueface found himself at the center of a terrifying police encounter after armed deputies detained and handcuffed him during a livestream while his girlfriend Nevaeh Akira and their newborn son were also at the scene.

The dramatic incident unfolded on Sunday, August 23, at a restaurant in Santa Clarita, California, after authorities received a report of a shooting.

Video from the livestream shows Blueface following officers’ commands as he gets down on his knees with his hands raised while deputies point their weapons in his direction. He was subsequently placed in handcuffs as officers secured and investigated the scene.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to King of Crab on Bouquet Canyon Road at about 5:27 p.m. following a reported shooting.

Blueface was detained while authorities investigated, but officers ultimately determined that no crime had occurred at the location. He was released, and no injuries or additional arrests were reported.

Reports have described the incident as an apparent swatting, a dangerous practice in which someone makes a false emergency report intended to trigger a heavily armed law-enforcement response.

Making the situation even more frightening was the presence of Nevaeh and the couple’s newborn baby. Footage circulating online showed Nevaeh holding the child while officers handled the tense scene. There were no reports that either she or the baby was injured.

Blueface and Nevaeh had welcomed their son, Johnathan Jamall Porter Jr., just days earlier on August 18, with parts of the birth experience also shared through livestreaming.

The latest confrontation is reportedly not the first time Blueface has faced a swatting incident. In July, deputies responded to another alleged false shooting report involving his Canyon Country home before determining that no shooting had taken place.

The frightening livestream has since spread across social media, with viewers expressing concern over how quickly a false emergency call can create a potentially deadly situation.

For Blueface, what began as another livestream suddenly turned into a frightening scene of guns, handcuffs and police commands all with his newborn child nearby.
