Shatta Wale’s Lawyers Give TikTok Star Priscywan 48-Hour Ultimatum Over Alleged Defamatory Video, Demand Public Apology

Ghanaian dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale has reportedly turned to his lawyers following comments made by TikTok personality and media commentator Priscywan, setting the stage for another heated entertainment controversy.

According to a legal notice attributed to the musician’s lawyers, Priscywan has been given 48 hours to delete a video, retract her comments and issue an apology to Shatta Wale or risk facing legal action.

The controversy reportedly stems from comments Priscywan made while discussing the dancehall artiste, during which she suggested that Shatta Wale should take his mental health seriously. The remarks subsequently generated discussion across social media.

Shatta Wale’s legal team reportedly considers aspects of the publication defamatory and damaging to the musician’s reputation. Their demand therefore calls for the content to be removed within the stated deadline and for Priscywan to apologize over the remarks.

Priscywan, whose real name is Priscilla Addae, is known for her outspoken social-media commentary and has expanded her presence into television and other media appearances.

The legal warning adds a serious dimension to what initially appeared to be another social-media debate. If Priscywan fails to comply with the demands within the 48-hour period, Shatta Wale’s lawyers have indicated that they could proceed with legal action.

Shatta Wale has previously taken disputes involving allegedly damaging publications to court. Earlier in 2026, he filed a defamation lawsuit against Blakk Rasta, seeking damages as well as the removal of disputed content and a public apology.

For now, attention will be on Priscywan and whether she responds to the legal notice before the deadline expires.

The development has once again sparked debate about freedom of expression, celebrity commentary and the legal boundaries of statements made about public figures on social media.
