Hollywood powerhouse Tyler Perry is making a major lifestyle change, putting his sprawling Beverly Hills estate on the market for a staggering $57 million as he prepares to trade California living for a new chapter in Puerto Rico.
The 57-year-old filmmaker, actor and producer listed the luxurious property on September 29, 2026, weeks after publicly revealing plans to relocate to Puerto Rico and slow down his demanding work schedule.
Sitting on approximately 22.5 acres inside the exclusive Beverly Ridge Estates community, Perry’s massive residence spans roughly 24,500 square feet. The Mediterranean-style compound boasts multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, lavish entertainment spaces, a private screening room, gym, bar, swimming pool, guesthouse and staff quarters.
Perry originally purchased the property for about $4.3 million in 2004 before developing the impressive mansion, which was completed in 2012.
The property also carries plenty of celebrity history. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle temporarily stayed at Perry’s Beverly Hills estate after relocating to the United States in 2020. The mansion has also reportedly hosted major names including Oprah Winfrey and former President Barack Obama.
But Perry’s decision appears to be about more than real estate.
During a September television interview, the entertainment mogul revealed that he intends to move to Puerto Rico in early 2027 while reducing his workload. Perry said he wants to slow down and spend more meaningful time with his son, Aman.
The Beverly Hills estate isn’t the only luxury property Perry is unloading. His Wyoming home is also on the market for approximately $39.5 million, bringing the combined asking price of the two properties to about $96.5 million.
For the Madea creator, the moves signal a significant shift after decades of building one of entertainment’s most successful production empires — with Puerto Rico now set to become the backdrop for his next chapter.
