Adom, 28, represented Ghana among 39 contestants from countries and territories around the world at the 12th edition of Mister Global, held at the MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

His achievement is being celebrated as the first time a Ghanaian representative has won the Best National Costume honor at an international male pageant, placing Ghana’s culture and creativity firmly in the global spotlight.

Ghana’s Culture Takes Center Stage

The National Costume segment is one of the most anticipated portions of Mister Global, allowing contestants to showcase clothing inspired by the traditions, history and identity of their respective countries.

Adom proudly carried Ghana’s flag during the competition, presenting a striking national costume alongside representatives from nations including Nigeria, South Africa, Togo, Kenya, the Philippines, Thailand, Mexico and Venezuela. His Ghanaian costume had already attracted attention during the National Costume and Preliminary Competition held on October 8.

Winning the award is more than a personal achievement for Adom. It represents another opportunity for Ghanaian heritage to receive international recognition through fashion, pageantry and cultural storytelling.

A Proud Moment for Ghana

Reuben Nii Adom entered the international competition after emerging from the Mister Global Ghana platform, carrying the responsibility of representing the country before an international audience.

The achievement demonstrates how international pageants can provide contestants with a platform not only to compete for titles but also to introduce their country’s traditions to audiences around the world.

From Ghana to Thailand, Reuben Nii Adom has written his name into the country’s pageant story.

For Ghana, this was more than an award, it was a proud celebration of culture, identity and national representation on the global stage.
