A Ghanaian immigrant living in the United States has become an internet sensation after passionately expressing his admiration for President Donald Trump, declaring that the American leader has completely transformed his life.
The man, identified in reports as Wisdom Atta Kumah, captured widespread attention following an emotional interview during Trump’s political rally in Highland Heights, Kentucky, on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
In a video circulating across social media, the enthusiastic supporter looked directly into the camera and delivered a heartfelt message to the president.
“Mr. President, you don’t know how much I love you. I followed you in Ghana… YOU CHANGED MY LIFE,” he declared.
Ghanaian Immigrant Credits Trump for His American Dream
According to the Ghanaian immigrant, his admiration for Trump began long before he relocated to the United States.
He disclosed that he arrived in America in 2018, during Trump’s first presidential administration, and believed his circumstances improved under the Republican leader.
Comparing his personal financial struggles during Trump’s absence from office to a declining stock market, he claimed his fortunes changed following the president’s political comeback.
The passionate supporter revealed that he had purchased a house and was working toward acquiring another property.

He attributed his progress to the economic environment under Trump’s leadership, although his personal experience does not independently establish that Trump’s policies caused those financial improvements.
“You Are the Greatest Leader of Our Time”
The Ghanaian did not limit his message to his personal achievements.
He described Trump as the greatest leader of his generation and encouraged him to remain committed to his political agenda despite criticism from opponents.
The supporter also offered prayers for the president, asking God to grant him wisdom, protection and strength to overcome challenges.
Drawing comparisons between the criticism directed at Trump and the opposition Jesus Christ faced, he argued that the president should remain focused on his mission.
Viral Video Sparks Political Debate
The emotional declaration quickly gained traction online, particularly among conservative commentators who shared the footage as an example of immigrant support for Trump.
However, the video also highlights contrasting political opinions within immigrant communities, particularly as the Trump administration continues to face scrutiny over its immigration and economic policies.
The encounter occurred as Trump campaigned to mobilize Republican voters ahead of the November 2026 midterm elections.
For the Ghanaian supporter, however, the moment was about more than politics. It was an opportunity to publicly thank a president he believes has positively influenced his American journey.
