The tension between two of Ghana’s biggest music heavyweights has taken another dramatic turn as Sarkodie reportedly fired back at Stonebwoy on X, branding the dancehall superstar a liar in a response that has sent fans into a frenzy.
The latest exchange comes amid growing tension between SarkNation and BHIM Nation on social media, where supporters of both artistes have been trading punches over achievements, loyalty, influence and supremacy in Ghana’s music industry.
Stonebwoy recently appeared to take shots at Sarkodie during the heated online conversation, prompting responses from fans and eventually drawing the rapper himself into the discussion.
Sarkodie’s reply, in which he challenged Stonebwoy’s account and effectively accused him of lying, immediately intensified the controversy.

The confrontation is particularly interesting considering their complicated history.
Earlier this year, Stonebwoy caused a massive stir when he posted that two unnamed individuals had been “faking” their friendship based on personal interests and timing. Although he mentioned no names, fans widely linked the statement to Sarkodie and Shatta Wale following their public reunion in London.
At the time, Sarkodie refused to directly attack Stonebwoy, saying he would not respond based purely on social-media assumptions because Stonebwoy had not specifically mentioned his name.
But the atmosphere now appears considerably hotter.
Sarkodie has also recently urged members of SarkNation to avoid toxic fan wars, telling supporters to concentrate on promoting his brand rather than attacking competing artistes. He stressed that fans do not have to destroy another musician’s reputation to prove their loyalty.
That message, however, has not stopped the ongoing exchanges between supporters of the two camps.
With Sarkodie now reportedly responding directly and challenging Stonebwoy’s credibility, social media is once again divided.
Some fans believe Sarkodie has finally decided to stop ignoring the jabs and fight back, while others are backing Stonebwoy and insisting that the BHIM Nation boss will not remain silent when his brand is attacked.
