Strika became internationally known for his memorable role in the acclaimed 2015 Hollywood war drama “Beasts of No Nation,” where he starred alongside Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah and Hollywood star Idris Elba. Netflix lists Quaye among the film’s cast.
In the latest circulating footage, residents are seen confronting a man believed to be Strika after reportedly finding him cutting pieces of metal from the footbridge.
According to claims accompanying the video, the metal was allegedly being removed with the intention of selling it as scrap.
