Ghana Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has secured the next chapter of his impressive career after completing a move to Sheffield United in the English Championship.
The experienced Ghanaian forward has joined the Blades on a one-year contract as a free agent, bringing an end to speculation surrounding his future following his departure from Leicester City.
Ayew, 34, became available after his contract with Leicester expired at the end of last season, attracting interest from several clubs searching for an experienced attacking option.

He has previously represented Aston Villa, Swansea City, Crystal Palace and Leicester City, establishing himself as one of Ghana’s most experienced players in England over more than a decade.
His versatility could prove particularly valuable to Sheffield United, with the forward capable of playing centrally or across the attacking line.
At international level, Ayew continues to play a major leadership role for Ghana and recently captained the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
