Popular British-Nigerian influencer and businessman Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo has reportedly died at the age of 43 after undergoing a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure in Thailand that a coroner later linked to a fatal pulmonary embolism.
Ubiribo, also known online as Denisi or Ego, underwent the procedure at a clinic in Bangkok while visiting Thailand with his wife, fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen.
According to evidence presented during an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, Ubiribo received injections containing approximately 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine as part of the enlargement procedure.
Reports say that following the treatment, Ubiribo and his wife returned to their hotel, where he later complained of chest pain and collapsed.
He was rushed by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital in Bangkok. Although he was initially conscious and able to communicate with medical personnel, his condition reportedly deteriorated before doctors could perform a recommended CT scan.
Medical teams diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism and attempted to save his life, including prolonged resuscitation efforts. However, Ubiribo was pronounced dead in the early hours of March 6, 2026.
A postmortem examination later found material in his lungs that investigators said was consistent with substances used during the cosmetic procedure. Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that the treatment caused the pulmonary embolism that resulted in his death.
Ubiribo had built a major social media following and was known for displaying an extravagant lifestyle online. He was also widely connected within African entertainment circles and was known as a longtime friend of Afrobeats superstar Davido.
Although Ubiribo died months ago, the circumstances surrounding his death became widely reported after details from the coroner’s investigation emerged.
His tragic death has now sparked fresh discussion online about the potentially serious risks associated with elective cosmetic procedures, particularly treatments involving injectable fillers.
The influencer was laid to rest in London following his death.
