Controversial social media influencer Ash Trevino is once again at the center of a major online storm after Texas prosecutors reportedly alleged that she had relationships with approximately 50 to 75 prison inmates over a period of several years.
The stunning allegation appeared in court documents connected to Trevino’s fraud case, according to TMZ. Prosecutors claimed that the individuals were inmates within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, with some reportedly incarcerated for serious violent crimes, including aggravated robbery and murder.
The claim has quickly attracted attention online because Trevino, whose legal name is Ashley Lopez-Trevino, has previously become known on social media for openly discussing relationships involving incarcerated men. However, the newly reported figure of 50 to 75 comes from prosecutors’ allegations and should not be treated as an independently established fact.
The revelation arrives as Trevino faces renewed scrutiny over her legal troubles.
On August 5, 2026, the 37-year-old influencer pleaded guilty to charges involving welfare fraud and fraudulent securing of document execution. Under the plea agreement, she was ordered to complete two years of community supervision, 120 hours of community service, an anti-theft program and financial counseling. She was also ordered to pay $16,799.95 in restitution to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Trevino had initially been arrested in December 2025 on felony warrants before being released on bond. She was taken into custody again in March 2026 after prosecutors accused her of violating conditions of her release, allegations her attorneys disputed at the time.
Court filings cited in recent reports also criticized aspects of Trevino’s social-media activity, including allegations that she sought monetary contributions from followers in connection with sharing private health information involving a dependent.
The extraordinary inmate-relationship allegation has now added another dramatic chapter to Trevino’s already controversial public profile.
