Kumasi-based radio presenter DJ KA has been thrown back into the centre of an intensifying social media storm following claims that another alleged private video connected to him is circulating online.
The latest development comes shortly after footage reportedly involving the Kessben FM presenter, whose real name is Rexford Kwaku Ntim, spread across platforms including TikTok, X and Snapchat. The controversy triggered widespread criticism and placed his personal and professional reputation under intense public scrutiny.
However, as of publication, credible reports have not independently confirmed that the material now being discussed is a separate second private recording. Several older and unrelated videos featuring DJ KA have resurfaced since the original controversy began, creating confusion about what is genuinely new.
Among the resurfaced clips are an old street interview featuring DJ KA and media personality Ama Parone, a previous birthday message and footage of the presenter commenting on another viral scandal. None of those publicly reported videos has been established as a second intimate recording.
The renewed speculation comes at a difficult time for DJ KA, who recently issued an apology to his family, employer, colleagues, followers and the public. In his statement, he accepted responsibility for recording the original footage, describing the decision as a serious error in judgment.
He nevertheless denied deliberately releasing or distributing the material. Reports have also attributed claims to him that the footage was several years old and had allegedly been connected to an attempted blackmail scheme. Those allegations have not been independently proven, and no suspect has publicly been charged.
DJ KA’s controversy has generated a broader discussion about digital privacy and the consequences of recording sensitive moments. Some public figures have urged social media users to stop forwarding the footage, warning that sharing private content can cause serious emotional and reputational harm.
For now, claims of another private video should be treated cautiously until DJ KA, his representatives or a reliable source confirms whether a distinct second recording actually exists.
