The legal troubles surrounding Ghanaian socialite Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, have taken another dramatic turn after vehicles linked to his luxurious collection were spotted being transported through the streets of Accra.
Viral footage circulating on social media appears to show several high-end vehicles secured on heavy-duty car hauliers. The convoy reportedly included a Tesla Cybertruck, Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG G63 and BMW i8 Roadster—cars long associated with Abu Trica’s highly publicized lifestyle.
The unusual movement of the fleet has sparked intense speculation, particularly because it comes shortly after Abu Trica was extradited from Ghana to the United States. Videos from his transfer showed him in handcuffs while being escorted onto a flight on July 9, 2026, to face federal charges.
However, authorities have not publicly confirmed the final destination of the vehicles or explained why they were moved. Claims that the cars were being exported to the United States therefore remain unverified. The available footage only establishes that the vehicles were transported publicly on trailers.
The US Department of Justice says international law-enforcement partners seized a mansion in Ghana, a Lamborghini, Tesla Cybertruck, Mercedes-Benz and BMW during the investigation. Prosecutors allege that Abu Trica used proceeds from an international romance-fraud operation to acquire luxury property and vehicles.

Abu Trica is accused of participating in a criminal network that allegedly defrauded more than 80 elderly Americans of over $8 million. The suspected victims were reportedly approached through social media and online dating platforms before being persuaded to transfer money under false pretences.
He faces charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money-laundering conspiracy. Those allegations have not yet been proven in court, and he remains entitled to the presumption of innocence.
