50 Cent Declares Rick Ross “Finished” as Set in Stone Album Sales Ignite Brutal Hip-Hop Mockery

Email 92

The long-running feud between 50 Cent and Rick Ross has erupted once again after the G-Unit mogul publicly mocked his rival over the commercial performance of his latest album, Set in Stone.

Rick Ross’ 12th studio album reportedly debuted at No. 39 on the Billboard 200 after earning approximately 19,000 equivalent album units during its opening week. The result is being described as the weakest first-week chart debut of the Miami rapper’s career.

Never one to ignore an opportunity to attack his longtime opponent, 50 Cent reacted to the numbers through a series of social-media posts. The rapper and television producer suggested that Ross’ run at the top was over and claimed his rival could no longer disguise the apparent decline in his music career.

“LOL, I’m sorry, it’s over. Can’t fake it forever,” 50 Cent wrote while reacting to Ross’ explanation of the album’s performance.

50 Cent also targeted the album’s lengthy list of guest appearances, arguing that the numerous featured artistes had failed to deliver stronger sales. In another mocking post, he questioned what Ross would do if both his concert tickets and albums struggled to sell, before making jokes about his car shows and chicken-wing business.

However, Ross refused to accept the numbers as evidence that his career was collapsing. He argued that genuine and consistent support was more important than inflated opening-week figures allegedly boosted by bots.

The Maybach Music Group boss maintained that Set in Stone was performing steadily and encouraged listeners to judge the quality of the project rather than become consumed by sales statistics. He also pointed to his longevity, noting that he remains active nearly two decades after entering the mainstream.

The latest confrontation adds another fiery chapter to one of hip-hop’s longest-running rivalries. 50 Cent and Rick Ross have exchanged insults for years, targeting each other’s music, business ventures, public appearances and personal reputations.

While Ross insists that his legacy and business empire remain secure, 50 Cent appears determined to use the album’s disappointing chart position as proof that his rival’s influence is fading.

Once again, the pair have turned album sales into a public battlefield—and neither rapper appears ready to end the war.
